I was going to sit this one out, but the article on MTSU's need to rise in
the football world since they have 20,000 students poses interesting
questions of demographics, student support, and fairness.  I imagine that
MTSU is like UTC and most other colleges in the nation, where nearly 60% or
more of the students are now women, and growing every year. Are these women
as interested in supporting football as the traditional male student body?
What does the ratio say about Title VI (?) support of women's athletics?
