Friday August 16 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, the Academic and Administrative
routers will be replaced with a more robust and better suited Cisco 6509
Layer 4 switch. This will cause network outages during this time for the
entire campus. You will not be able to get email, web, or any other network
services anywhere on campus during this time. This is a must do upgrade as
we continue to increase redundancy and robustness to the campus network.
If you lose connectivity and can not regain it by 8:00PM you may need to
reboot your computer to clear your ARP cache and pick up the new route to
your gateway. This should re-establish your connectivity. Do not do this
until after 8:00PM though.
Thank you,
-Rusty
