The Counseling and Career Planning Center is having a group for those
students and staff who have been affected by military deployment. As a
result of hurricane Katrina, we have heard that there has been an
increase in the amount of local deployments. This group is for those
who have friends and loved ones who have been deployed either
domestically or over seas, and would like to discuss the impact of this
on their lives. Those students and staff who have been deployed and who
have not left yet are invited to either attend the group or come in
individually to discuss the impact of their deployment. This group will
be held in the Sequoyah room of the University Center on Tuesdays at
12:00. The group will begin on Tuesday Sept. 6. Please pass this
information along to any students or staff who might be able to benefit
from this.
