Dear colleagues,

The Supreme Court has recently ruled that the Constitution does not
protect your private property -- your own home -- against hostile
takeovers by developers in cahoots with local government officials. As
long as those who want to seize your property can convince politicians
that your property could generate more jobs or tax money in their hands
than in yours (as they did in New London, CT) it is now fair game for
their plunder.

Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Green, or
independent, this awful ruling should have your full attention, as it
could one day cost you your home. If you want to help fight eminent
domain abuse, consider joining the Castle Coalition. You can find their
web site at:

http://www.castlecoalition.org/

Now is the time to let government know that a man's, or woman's, home is
his or her castle ... and they need to keep their grubby hands off our
property.
