The first film in the Spanish Film Series will be shown Monday, September 17th
at 8:00pm in Brock 201.  The film is "The Silence of Neto", a Guatemalan film
by Luis Argueta.  The film tells the politically charged story of a young boy
striving to follow his dreams while his country struggles to preserve
democracy amidst CIA cold-war propaganda.  Spanish with English subtitles. 106
minutes. NR.
