The request for the Social Security number has been removed from the
website and is not a requirement for reporting problems.

They still have no NEED for it, and I would not give it.

Unless someone has a need to do a Credit Report on me, and I Authorize
them to do so in writing or an employer that has Hired me--i.e., not
just an Application--I will not give it out.

We do need it on campus in relationship to Students for Financial Aid.
But, it is not needed any longer as a student identifier--we have
UTCIDs.

As employees, we have employee ID numbers--see it printed on your
paycheck--they no longer print SSN on there. I would be willing to
supply THAT if requested... and generally substitute it anywhere I see a
request for in relationship to UTC forms.
