I am having trouble finding a vet to give the three year rabies shots per Tennessee law ref. (www.drpetclinic.com/rabies.htm) . Most will refuse by saying it is not legal in Tn., and unwilling to accept otherwise and give this service. Chattanooga's Humane society as well as Environmental Services @ 209-8110 does recognize the three rabies shot. I am hunting another vet as have been refused by Red Bank Animal Hospital after spending around two thousand dollars or more in the approx. two years I have been using them. Maybe if vet is in another state I will consider but must have a Tn. license. You probable feel as I do why they are not doing this.

One other thing that all may not be aware of if you are 65 or older and dog is spayed or neutered then the Chattanooga city license is no cost.

Information back on line could be useful to others also.

Respectfully,
Curtis Gossett
