Dear Colleagues,

By now, most of us have received our letters from Chancellor Brown and
the reply cards for the Faculty & Staff/ Family Fund Campaign.  This
year's appeal affords us the opportunity to show our solidarity as "work
family" in support of the many good things at Chattanooga's university.
As explained in the letter and reply card, we all benefit by helping UTC
be the best that it can be.  Student scholarships, the library,
athletics, individual departments, and other areas benefit from the
campaign.  Last year, more than $62,000 was raised.  We encourage
departments to focus on 100 percent participation; your contribution,
whatever the size, matters.  Please complete your reply card soon and
return it to the designated person in your department or your Building
Captain.  If you use the Payroll Deduction Plan and are not making any
changes, please check the appropriate boxes on your card and return it
even if your amount stays the same.  If you need assistance or have
questions, you may contact your Building Captain or call the Development
Office at either extension 4232 or 5307.  We will be happy to help.
