Six days from tonight, on Monday, November 21, at
7:30, the UTC Percussion Ensemble, directed by
Dr. Monte Coulter, will present "Beat Hunger 05".
This concert, which has become a Chattanooga
tradition, is two things: (1) a concert of
percussion music performed by the legendary UTC
Percussion Ensemble, and (2) a benefit for the
Chattanooga Community Kitchen. Admission is a
2-dollar check to the Community Kitchen, or 2
non-perishable food items.

Any percussionist or teacher of percussion
instruments should come! The Hayes Concert Hall
is on the UTC campus, on the corner or Vine and
Palmetto streets. For more information call
425-4601.

Below is a reminder-- Sing to the tune of "Pretty Woman"...All together now...

		(verse 1)
Feeding people-All it takes is you,
Feeding people-It's what we're going to do
Feeding people...

You get so hungry, out on the street,
And it's that hunger we'll defeat.

("whump-a whump-a whump-a")

		(verse 2)
Feeding people-gather all your crumbs
Feeding people-to the sound of drums
Feeding peopleŠ

They'll play it clean and they'll play it right
They sound like thunder in the night

		(BRIDGE)
Hungry people cannot stand,
Think or work or use their hands
Bring your boxes, bags and cans to meeeeeŠ

Hungry ones in this old town
With no warm place to lie down
Searching hard for one more ca---lorieeeeeŠ

		(TRANSITION)
'Cause they need you, come to the Hayes
How many dinners can we all raaa-aa-ise!!!

("whump - whump-a whump-a")

FEEDING PEOPLE!!!
