Noted non-fiction author and award-winning columnist David Magee will
give a reading this week and sign copies of his latest book, MoonPie:
Biography of an Out-of-This-World Snack. Magee is a Lookout Mountain
resident known locally for his Chattanooga Times Free Press column which
appears on Wednesdays; the event will take place:
When: Thursday, December 7th at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Rock Point Books, located at 401 Broad Street (corner of Broad
St. and Fourth St. Downtown - next to the Chattanooga Regional History
Museum). All events at Rock Point Books are free and open to the
public.
Event details: Free MoonPies will be given away and this will be
Magee's last appearance of the year; Magee will also sign copies of some
of his other most popular titles, including Endurance: Winning Life's
Majors the Phil Mickelson Way and The John Deere Way. MoonPie: Biography
of an Out-of-This-World Snack was recently selected as a top 30
non-fiction book pick of the year by the Atlanta Constitution Journal
and was also recommended by the Charlotte Observer and more.
All events at Rock Point Books are free and open to the public. Call
