Well, here we are at the conclusion of another season of great music,
theatre and dance in the Patten Series. Thanks to all who helped make this
a wonderful year. We have discovered our attendance increased 20% from last
year, and we hope to increase it again next year, perhaps by focusing more
effort than ever on UTC students.

Our 2001-2002 season will be on our website by tomorrow, so you can check
it out and pencil the dates into your calendars. Or, if you cannot wait a
day, we have a basic copy of brochure information in the Free Flight
program from Saturday night, and we have saved many copies. Stop by the
Fine Arts center box office and pick one up. Remember that the subscription
prices for faculy and staff are less than those for the off-campus public.

A bit of news: Free Flight went to dinner at the Southside Jazz Junction
after the concert, and they played with John Birdsong's ensemble there.
What a jam!!

Don't forget the Theatre Department opens The Caucasian Chalk Circle this
week in the Ward Theatre, the Jazz Band concert is Friday night in the
Hayes Concert Hall, and the Art Department's senior show is in the Cress
Gallery.
