Don't forget the Chattanooga Writers Guild meeting coming up this week:
Cherie Priest, graduate of UTC's Master's Program in English Writing and
Rhetoric, will read from her first novel, Four and Twenty Blackbirds, at
the next Chattanooga Writers Guild meeting:
When: Tuesday, April 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: UTC's Faculty Club (at the corner of Palmetto & Oak street)
Comments on the novel:
"Cherie Priest's new book, Four and Twenty Blackbirds, is one of those rare
birds, the novel you wish you'd written yourself. Of course I'd never tell
her that. Let's just say it's merely excellent and let it go at that, shall
we?" C.J. Henderson, author of The Things That Are Not There.
"A major new talent, Cherie Priest has created a riveting story with
unforgettable characters." Bruce Gehweiler, editor of New Mythos Legends
and Frontiers of Terror.
"Four and Twenty Blackbirds is, quite simply, the best first novel I've
read in years." Allen Tower, co-editor of Warfear, A Collection of Strange
War Tales.
