Hello,

The Grants Office invites you to attend a workshop on National Science
Foundation grant programs. As a special feature of the workshop, UTC
faculty who have served on NSF review panels or successfully competed for
NSF grants will provide insight into the application process and offer tips
on improving your chances for success. The workshop will focus on two
grant programs:

1) Course Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement -- supports curricular
changes and/or laboratory instrument acquisition to improve the quality of
undergraduate science, math, engineering, or technology education

2) Research in Undergraduate Institutions -- supports faculty research
projects in science, math, engineering, or technology

Workshop date: Wednesday, November 17
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: University Center, Lookout Mountain Room

Please let me know if you plan to attend. Hope to see you on the 17th!

Maria Derrick
