The Mathematics Department is starting a STUDENT PROBLEM COMPETITION. Each
month a problem will be posted on the bulletin board near the Department
Office in Metro 304 and at other selected sites. Entries should be
submitted to Professor Stan Byrd by the last day of each month.

You need not be present to win and the decision of the judges is final.
No purchase is necessary and the contest is void where prohibited by law.

Prizes include posting you name on the bulletin board, $1, and a hearty
handskake from Dr. Byrd. For further details, please contact him.
