Physical Fitness.....do it now. Hesitation will only reap disappointment.

The Department of Health and Human Performance and the UTC Work Place
Wellness Center are happy to announce the return of water aerobics and body
conditioning for faculty and staff (dependents and friends too) of UTC. Come
one, come all. We are also excited to be bring Tai Chi back.

Water aerobics will begin on Wednesday, January 18 at 5:15 PM and will
continue through April 24. Classes will meet MW of each week. The fee is
$45, payable in full prior to the first day of class. We must have a minimum
of 12 participants to cover costs. This workout is low impact. Excellent
training for all, but extremely beneficial to those with arthritic or joint
problems. This class will be held in the Maclellan Gymnasium pools.

Body conditioning will begin on Wednesday, January 18 at 6:00 PM and will
continue through April 24. Classes will meet MW of each week. The fee is
$45, payable in full prior to the first day of class. We must have a minimum
of 12 participants to cover costs. This workout is higher impact and intense
in content. Great for weight reduction, muscle toning, and cardiovascular
fitness. This class will meet in the Dance Studio (Room 101) in McKenzie
Arena.

Tai Chi will begin on Monday, January 30 at 12:00 PM and will continue
through April 24. Classes will meet MW of each week. The fee is $45, payable
in full prior to the first day of class. We must have a minimum of 10
participants to cover costs. This class is a slow-motion, moving, meditative
exercise for relaxation, health and self-defense. It originated in China and
has gained enormous popularity in America and throughout the rest of the
world. This class will meet in the Wellness Center (Room 115) in McKenzie
Arena
