The mission of the Community Outreach Partnership Center
(COPC), part of the University of Tennessee at
Chattanooga, is to provide services to the Martin Luther
King Neighborhood through programs, research and
assistance with the community's revitalization.
In keeping with this mission, the COPC partnering with
the UTC School of Nursing and the Hamilton County
Regional Health Council will host a Health Fair:
Thursday, September 20, 2001
10 am - 2 pm
Central City Complex
730 East Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd.
Free health screenings for diabetes, hypertension, and
stroke will be available to those attending.
THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND.
Door prizes for the Health Fair include the following:
1. One gift basket from CADAS
2. One balloon bouquet from Balloon A'fair
3. One free meal from Piccadilly Restaurant (Northgate)
4. One ham from Buehler's Food Market
5. One $25 gift certificate from Winn-Dixie
