On Friday, April 30, representatives from the local chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) will be on campus to give you an opportunity to find out more about this organization. This is the group that is responsible for the CPS (Certified Professional Secretary) and CAP (Certified Administrative Professionals) exams and Administrative Professionals Day. If you pass the CPS Exam on the first attempt, you will earn a 9% pay increase from the State of Tennessee.
The representatives from the Chattanooga Chapter IAAP would like to meet you and answer questions you may have about IAAP. To give you a chance attend this meeting, there will be three (3) 30-minute sessions - 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM; 12:00-12:30 PM; and 12:30 - 1:00 PM. You may bring yourself a brown bag lunch. Cookies and drinks will be provided. The meetings will be held in the Stein Suite in Founders Hall - 3rd Floor - part of the Probasco Chair Office. If you would like to find out more, please send me an email to schedule a time to attend.
Happy Administrative Professionals Day on Wednesday!
Pat Gordy CPS
