What: A celebration marking the completed expansion of the Chattanooga
Convention   Center

Who: The public is invited

When:  Friday, April 11, 2003  From 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Where: 1 Carter Plaza in downtown Chattanooga In the 950 foot long
pre-function hall on the
          Carter Street side

Come enjoy free hot dogs and Cokes

Why: The Convention Center belongs to the people of Chattanooga and
Hamilton  County and we want them to see this fabulous public space. Plus,
want local citizens to think about how they might help bring a meeting of
their organization to the Convention Center.

How much: The event is absolutely free of charge

Other: The facility will be open so the people can tour the new exhibit
space, meeting rooms, ballrooms, and Chattanooga's largest kitchen.
