Dear All,

The proposed calender can be improved. Fall semester has two weeks with
only two days of teaching. This one-class-between-two-weekends approach is
not conducive to learning.

Additionally I prefer to start at the end of August, just because its too
damned hot. I would even give up Fall break (Gasp!) in exchange for a
later start.

Yours,

John Garrett
