The Chattanooga Community Group of the Institute of Noetic Sciences
(CHIONS) invites you
to a free public lecture:

"The Emerging Story from the Frontiers of Science"

by Paul Von Ward on Saturday, June 5, 1999 at 10:30 A.M.

Paul is no stranger to Chattanooga as he delivered a lecture in June of
1998 in Chattanooga on his book, The Solarian Legacy: Metascience & a New
Renaissance. His talk was attended last year by approximately 70 people
from our campus and the local community.

His talk this Saturday was first presented to the International Conference
on Science and Consciousness in Albuquerque earlier this year. The central
theme of Paul's talk is the amazing potential for the co-creative power of
humanss. He draws from research in diverse disciplines that are at the
frontiers of science.

Paul is a social scientist and currently writes and does research. He
recently relocated to Monteagle, TN. He travels extensively and has made
presentations to many organizations, including the World Future Society,
Association for Humanistic Society, and community groups of the Institute
of Noetic Sciences. He is a former U.S. Diplomat, with postings in France,
Martinique, Sierra Leone, and the Dominican Republic. His degrees are from
Harvard and Florida State University.

The Chattanooga Community Group of the Institute of Noetic Sciences
(CHIONS) is a membership organization open to persons interested in
exploring consciousness at the frontiers of natural, physical, and social
sciences, as well as the humanities. More information may be secured from
Martha Lee, a former TVA staff member and UTC adjunct in computer science,
