Colleagues,

Many of you have kindly asked about service arrangements for Betty  
Sompayrac, who passed away this morning. Mrs. Sompayrac was the  
mother of Joanie Somapyrac, UC Foundation Associate Professor of  
Accounting and Assistant Director of the University Honors Program.

The family will receive visitors from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday,  
November 1 at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel (5351  
Highway 153 Hixson, TN). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on  
Friday, November 2 at St. Jude's Catholic Church (930 Ashland Terrace  
Chattanooga, TN 37415).

Please do keep Joanie and her family in your thoughts.
