I've been one of the loudest complainers about working on Memorial Day for
the last two years. I've whined about working it and thrown the family
military history in to help make my case.

I would like to take just a moment now to thank the powers-that-be for
hearing all of us and making Memorial Day an official holiday. It is very
special for me this year, we are having a "Boot Camp Barbecue" as my son
leaves for boot camp next Wednesday.

Thanks for the holiday, I appreciate it.
