The 20th Annual C.S. Lewis Lecture will be given on Monday, April 8, at 7:30
PM in the Roland Hayes Hall of the Fine Arts Center.  This year's speaker
will be Dr. David Lyle Jeffrey, Distinguished Professor of Literature and
Humanities and Senior Vice Provost of Baylor University.  Dr. Jeffrey's
topic will be "The Bible and C.S. Lewis".

You are also invited to bring your lunch and join Dr. Jeffrey in an open
discussion session on Monday from 12:30 - 1:30 in the Chickamauga Room.  In
addition the students in the University Honors Program are sponsoring an
open session at 4:00 PM in the Flag Room of the Guerry Center.

A noted scholar in Medieval Studies and the Bible as literature, Dr. Jeffrey
is the author or editor of a number of books including "People of the Book:
Christian Identity and Literary Culture", which was named one of the Top Ten
Books of 1997 by "Christianity Today".  More information about Dr. Jeffrey
