The Walker Teaching Resource Center will facilitate a discussion on grade
inflation on September 13, 2001, 2:00 - 3:00 pm in the UC Sequoyah Room.

Sprialing Grades: Is Inflation More Than an Economic Term?
OFFERED THREE TIMES!
September 13, 2001, 2:00 - 3:00 pm
October 24, 2001, 9:00 - 10:00 am
October 30, 2001, 10:00 - 11:00 am
LOCATION: UC Sequoyah Room

Does grade inflation exist at UTC? What does the research say about what
causes it? What can faculty do to prevent it? Is it even a "bad" thing?
This seminar is designed to present some general information about grade
inflation and provide a forum for discussion about grades, grading, student
outcomes and grading criteria in general.
