The Cecasun faculty/staff email server will be unavailable on Friday,
October 12, 2001, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for maintenance.  During this
time, faculty and staff who use cecasun.utc.edu for email will not be able
to send or receive email.  Departmental, organizational, and personal Web
pages belonging to faculty and staff will also be unavailable.  Student
email and Web pages on moccasun.utc.edu and genesis.cs.utc.edu will also be
unavailable during part of the period.

The outage will have no affect on IRIS, Banner, HP Desk, and similar
services.  Access to the UTC main web pages, the UTC Library web
pages,  and the Internet will not be affected.
