On Saturday, September 28 the UTC campus will welcome 7,000 participants in
the
Susan G.Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure.  The one-mile
race starts at 8:30 a.m. in front of the McKenzie Arena.  The 5k race
begins at 9 a.m.  Runners will start on E. 5th Street near the Challenger
Center; walkers will start past the Lupton Library on Vine Street.

If you are not a walker or runner, you can Shop for the Cure in the center
of the McKenize Arena floor to purchase special souvenir items like coffee
mugs, sweatshirts, blankets, jackets, vests, pins, and more.

A special tribute to breast cancer survivors will be held at 10:15 a.m. on
the field across from the McKenzie Arena.  Survivors, friends and family
are invited.
