The UTC Library is now testing software which will permit current UTC faculty,
staff, and students who have a computer account on either CECASUN or MOCCASUN to
access the library's electronic indexes and databases from off campus.

During the test period (November 19-December 03, 1999) users will simply point
their browsers to the library's web page which lists electronic indexes and
databases; identify a particular electronic resource; and click their mouse on the
words "on campus" or "at home" by the resource's name.

The library's web page which lists electronic indexes and databases is available
at:

http://www.lib.utc.edu/arc.html

An on-campus user will be granted immediate access to the electronic resource.

An off-campus user will be presented a web page requesting his/her CECASUN or
MOCCASUN username and password.

If the username and password are correct, then the off-campus user will be granted
access to the electronic resource.

Instructions and other information will be available on the login page.

PLEASE NOTE: The login process is case sensitive, so please type your username and
password with this in mind.

or electronic indexes.
