The Tennessee Dept. of Education has awarded Lisa Pemberton and UTC two
contracts totaling $147,748 to continue support services to Title I schools
in Tennessee and to develop training related to the Comprehensive School
Reform Demonstration program.  Title I support services offer schools
technical assistance and/or training to teachers and principals based upon
identified needs.  Such training or assistance may include identifying
problems with the design and operation of the school improvement plan; how
to find and use research-based instructional strategies to achieve the
goals of the improvement plan; and strategies for reaching the State's
student performance standards.  Congratulations to Lisa on this renewal!
