The Campus Services Department in Facilities Planning continues, despite
budget cuts and personnel constraints, to attempt to improve the beauty and
general appearance of the grounds of our campus. However, in recent days
several thefts and/or vandalisms of plants have occurred, particularly from
the planters around the University Center. These plants are of course state
property, and unfortunately given the current budget situation cannot be
properly replaced. We are asking for cooperation from the campus in
reporting these incidents. If you see or have seen anyone removing plants
from anywhere on campus, please report this to Campus Security.
