Collaboration or Cheating? A Discussion on Academic Dishonesty
October 2, 2001, 12:30 - 1:30 pm
LOCATION: UC Sequoayah Room
Do your students collaborate to the point of cheating? Do they understand
what cheating is? Are there things that you can do to prevent cheating and
academic dishonesty in your classroom? This discussion will provide an
overview of the basic research on academic dishonesty and we'll discuss
ways to prevent it from happening in the classroom. In addition, some
tools to help detect plagiarism will be reviewed. Pre-registration is NOT
required for this class. This class is offered only one time this
semester.
