The Faculty Club is open and serving lunch daily, Mo through Thursday. BUT, I haven't seen many of you there. Remember that old alert, Use it or lose it? I can't eat enough to keep to keep this convience open for you by myself; I really need your help!

The UTC dining service is doing a great job with lunch. The selection is great and the flavor is outstanding. Marilyn (your server) is very excited to be at the Faculty Club and can't do enough to make your dining experience the best it can possibly be.

Service is buffet style. My most recent favorite offered a hot rich vegetable soup, a salad with a wide variety of great ingredients, a tender, lean (cut with a fork) port roast with raspberry sauce, roasted baby red potatoes, broiled, blackened squash, hot rolls & a rich creamy hot fudge cheese cake. All of this plus your choice of beverage for only $7.50. $6.96 if you are a Association member.

However, the most enjoyable part of lunch at the Faculty Club is being able to converse and interact with your fellow university faculty and staff while being pampered in a comfortable, attractive atmosphere that belongs to you. All university staff are either Lords or Ladies of the House when in residence whether you are a Faculty Association member or not. Association Membership is just a way of paying for this university service.

Yes, I know that there hasn't been anything on the Raven to alert you to the menu of the day. We have tried to get this information out to you, but somehow our messages haven't made the cut. I hope that this has been corrected and that you receive this message.
I really need your support. I have spent the past six years making sure that you all (faculty, staff, administration) have a nice private place to have lunch. I am retired now and will be leaving the city soon. I would hate for this wonderful part of the UTC community to no longer be a part of your university experience, but someone has got to pick up the charge!!

Please come to lunch and see for yourself just how good it is. It will be much appreciated.
