        just a reminder that an informal discussion of the draft of a
possible Mission Statement
and Guiding Principles for the University is scheduled for:

          Thursday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m.
           Raccoon Mountain Room of the University Center
The members of the Mission Statement Steering Committee will be available
to hear your
suggestions and  to discuss the development of the final statement.  Your
participation
in this discussion will be greatly appreciated.

You are encouraged to review the draft by visiting the campus web site and
to forward your
email comments to Dr. Dick Grutezemacher in advance of Thursday's session
