Due to more electrical work for the renovation in Hunter, the main
Computer Center systems and the campus network will be shut down
from Saturday June 9 at 10pm, all day Sunday June 10, until approx. 4pm.
This includes:
- the main campus network,
- Internet connections,
- web pages and event calendar (www.utc.edu, athena.utc.edu),
- web-course-in-a-box (wcb.utc.edu) and blackboard,
- faculty/staff e-mail (cecasun.utc.edu),
- student e-mail and academic software (moccasun.utc.edu),
- student/faculty web course work (genesis.utc.edu),
- Banner and Virtua - the Library's catalog (faclon.admin.utc.edu),
- ASIS (Reflection), online registration and course schedules, etc.
(phoenix.utc.edu),
- listservs (raven.utc.edu),
- Student/lab file storage (UTCACAD)
Network connections between buildings or between the Faculty/Staff network
and the Student network will not work during this outage.
We apologize for the impact of these outages. We expect only one more of
these after this one.
