Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to share with you the very generous distribution of nearly
$3,000,000 from the U C Foundation for the next academic year.  I am very
grateful for the continuing generosity of our donors and the impressive
stewardship of the Board of Directors of the University of Chattanooga
Foundation.  Equally, I am grateful that our faculty and staff and the
students whom we serve are viewed with such respect by our donors and
Foundation members that they would want to join you in meeting the goals of
the university.

Thank you for what you reflect of the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
I am sure that we shall use wisely these $3,000,000 to build on academic
excellence at UTC and to improve student access to that excellence.
