Faculty, staff, and students looking for a good (and inexpensive) fun
time can hear live jazz music every Monday night this semester (except
for November 13 and the entire month of December) at the Chattanooga
Theatre Centre, 400 River Street.  The Chattanooga Monday Nite Jazz Band
Orchestra, consisting of 16 musicians, plays standard tunes from the
1950s to the present with a jazz flavor.  This big band has been called
"the best kept secret in Chattanooga".  

 

Doors open at 7:30 pm with music beginning at 8:00 pm in the Theatre
Centre's main lobby.

 

The cost of admission is only $3; snack and cash bar are available.  UTC
students receive a free soft drink with paid admission and a student ID.
