Hello,
The German Academic Exchange Service (known as DAAD, short for its German
name, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) funds study and research
programs in Germany. All academic fields are eligible, and visits may be
for as little as a few weeks to as long as an academic year. Summer
programs enable participants to study the German language and culture in
Germany. Grants are available for undergraduates, graduate students, and
faculty.
DAAD also funds U.S. research residency programs in contemporary German
literature and postwar Germany.
The DAAD Guest Lectureships program provides partial funding to bring
German faculty to teach at U.S. campuses for one to six months. All
academic fields are eligible for this support.
For more information and application materials, please visit the DAAD
website at http://www.daad.org
Please let the Grants Office know if you plan to apply for a DAAD grant.
