As previously announced, Computer systems and the campus network, and
Internet access will be down today, starting at Noon and continuing
until the work is completed estimated to be at 9pm.

We are making efforts to maintain just the network and Internet
connections during this down time, and a big thank you to Facilities
Planning and Management for making this possible, but you should not
depend on it staying available all the time.

A special word on IRIS.  IRIS depends on the campus network and
Internet to work, in addition to UTK's Internet and the systems at UTK.
