Unless one sticks exclusively to puns, someone is bound to be offended
by almost every joke shared on Raven. When I get in the mood to share
a joke, I usually use my home email address, then select people from my
address book rather than blanket everyone.

An alternative would be to use the header "Joke" and those not wanting
to waste their time or raise their ire can filter them out without having 
to read
them.
