JUST A REMINDER . It's NOT too late to register!  Continuing Education is
once again offering the "Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) Review
Course" beginning February 20, 2007.  This ten week course is an in-depth
review for the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) examination.  The CPS
rating is the achievement of the internationally recognized standard of
proficiency in the secretarial and administrative support professions.  In
today's workplace, having the CPS credentials can be assurance of
employability, pay increases (9% for UTC/state employees), and opportunity
for advancement.  The CPS examination covers three main subject areas
including Management, Office Systems & Technology, and Office
Administration.  UTC is an authorized testing center for the CPS examination
which is given the first Saturday in May and November.  

 

            When:   Tuesdays, February 20 - April 24, 2007 (4:00-7:30 pm)

            Cost:    $425 (UTC staff will receive a 10% discount!)

 

** Books should be purchased prior to the first class.
