Dear Faculty and Staff:
On Thursday September 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the Signal Mountain Room of the
University Center, Chattanooga native Lori Ann Shoemaker, Officer in
Charge, Switzerland and Liechtenstein Affairs, Bureau of European Affairs,
U.S. Department of State, will deliver a talk entitled "Careers in the
Foreign Service: From Chattanooga to Diplomacy." Lori is a graduate of
G.P.S., New College of the University of South Florida, and the Harvard Law
School. Her visit to UTC is co-sponsored by the Political Science Club and
the History Club.
Your assistance in publicizing this lecture among students who may be
interested in diplomacy as a career option will be much appreciated.
