SATURDAY, APRIL 9, 2005
10:00 am to 3 pm CDT (11-4 EDT). Music, Art, and the Environment: UTC
Contemporary Music Symposium 2005. Outdoor Music Festival at the
Sequatchie Valley Institute near Dunlap, TN. A nature-based event
featuring music and dance performances and interactive creations of art
among the rocks and cliffs under the forest canopy. There will be fun
for all ages, including tours of the hand-crafted solar homes and
gardens, wildflower hikes, picnicking, hayrides up the mountain, arts
and crafts demonstrations, mask-making, and an organic vegetarian
buffet. Open mike, jamming, and activities will continue until dark!
Transportation: Limited seating available in vans from UTC.

Admission: Students free. Others: donation of $3 to $10. Buffet is an

directions and reservations for buffet. SVI is located midway between
Dunlap and Whitwell, just off Rte. 28 in the beautiful Sequatchie
Valley of Southeast Tennessee.
