Gail Shulimson and Sandy Cole of UTC's Community Career Education Center
(CCCE) recently received a $180,578 grant from the Tennessee
Department of Education to implement the "School to Career Academic
Training" program.

In this program, the Center for Community Career Education will develop and
deliver training to high school guidance counselors and teachers. The
training will enable high school personnel to integrate career education
into the curriculum through use of the Internet and collaboration with
employer partners.

A total of 258 teachers and counselors will receive this training.
>
We offer our congratulations and wishes for good luck with this project to
CCCE.
