Please be advised that Linda Hisey, who is the director of the lab for
Blood Assurance, and I just spoke on the phone and she is in need of blood
for the next few weeks.  She is asking that anyone who is wanting to donate
blood do so in the next few days and next week.  They will be needing blood
for the local hospitals for the patients that they will have in the trauma
situation.  She is asking that you have patients and get in touch with the
Blood Assurance to make an appointment to give blood.  They have lines out
the door at this time and are in the situation that they had on 09/11/01.
She is asking that your call 756-0966 within the next few days to make an
appointment or find out the best time to come.  If you need further
information, please contact me at 5290.

Also if you do call and make an appointment let them know that you are from
UTC.
