The Walker Teaching Resource Center is presenting a seminar on
copyright and fair use for faculty on Friday, August 29, 11:00 -
12:00 pm in Lupton Library 208.

This session will provide a brief overview of the many copyright and
fair use laws and discuss implications of those for higher education
faculty. Can you legally scan photos from your textbook and use them
in Blackboard? Can you scan articles and e-mail them to your
students? These and other case studies will be discussed.
Space is limited, so please call or e-mail Marcus Myers to reserve
your spot ([log in to unmask] or x4188).

The session will be repeated on Wednesday, September 10, 3:00 - 4:00
pm. If neither of these times is good, contact the Teaching Resource
Center to schedule a time convenient for you or for your department.
