2005 SOUTHERN CONFERENCE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT TICKETS ON SALE TODAY IN
CHATTANOOGA

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Tickets for the Kyocera Southern Conference Men's
and Women's Basketball Championships, hosted by the University of Tennessee
at Chattanooga and the Greater Chattanooga Sports and Events Committee,
went on sale Friday at The McKenzie Arena box office.

The tournaments, which award the winner of each event an automatic bid to
the NCAA Championships, will be held March 2-5 at The McKenzie Arena and
Maclellan Gym on the UTC campus.

All-session ticket books cost $60, and there is a limit of four books per
purchase.  An all-session book includes every game for both the men's and
women's tournaments.  Individual session tickets will go on sale during the
week of the tournament for $12 per session.

Business hours for The McKenzie Arena ticket office are 10 a.m. to 5
p.m.  Interested fans can purchase tickets via the telephone by calling
423-266-6627.  Tickets to certain sections of The McKenzie Arena's upper
level can by purchased on line by visiting the Arena's web site at
www.utc.edu/administration/mckenziearena.
