There are currently more funds available this round than faculty have
requested in the proposals I have received so far, so I feel compelled to
send out another reminder!

REMINDER

Applications for the last 2002-2003 round of Faculty Development Grants are
due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15. Please submit 20 copies (with
appropriate
signatures) to Stephen Kuhn, Mathematics Department, Mail Code 6956, Metro
309. Applications should be typed or word-processed. I plan to notify all
proposers of the committee's recommendations before commencement.

Especially given the economic conditions in the state and the university we
strongly encourage faculty to take advantage of this funding opportunity!
