Did anyone else hear the story aired on FM 90.5 this morning, about the
Tennessee state legislature voting NOT to adopt new lower blood alcohol
levels for DUI, and thereby preventing the state from receiving additional
federal funds (in some 7-figure amount)? If so, did you catch any other
details? Does anyone know anything more about this vote, such as WHY they
may have turned down the chance to increase public safety and refused the
offer for more funding?
