The Girls Choir of the Czech Republic, Jitro, will present a concert at
First Baptist Church, Golden Gateway, Monday March 10, at 7:30 p.m. Jitro
is an organization of nearly 500 girls ranging in age from 13 to 19; the top
25 girls are selected for this tour. Jitro's program will include Czech
folk songs and selections by classical composers from their homeland and
America. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.

Free parking is plentiful at First Baptist Church and the building is
handicapped accessible. The large brick structure, visible from US 27, has
excellent acoustics for choral singing. Profits from the sale of tickets
will benefit the scholarship fund of the Chattanooga Girls Choir, the
hosting organization.

For additional information contact the Chattanooga Girls Choir at 266-9422
or chattanoogagirlschoir.com.

Note: For those of you who are interested, I am also selling tickets, so
you can buy early from me and not wait at the door. Sorry, no discount. I
tried that line myself and it did not work even for someone with my close
connections to the Chatt Girls Choir!!
