I am moving soon and cannot take my two-year-old Leopard Gecko with me.
The gecko is full grown. I have not determined it's sex yet. This gecko
would make an excellent specimen for the budding herpetologist (i.e.,
pet for children) because it does not bite, it's not particularly fast
(won't run away), they can handle not being fed or watered for days on
end and it is very clean, only using one corner of its cage to go to the
bathroom.
The only real draw back is that it is an insectivore. It will only eat
live insects. I usually buy crickets at Petcare Warehouse for 5 cents
each. The gecko currently eats about 60 crickets every two weeks.
I am including the lizard, the tank (I think it's 30 gallons but it's
crack, so you don't want to put fish in it), the hot-stone, the cover,
the lamp with timer and both UVA and UVB bulbs.
Price: $75.
Contact me by email. The lizard is currently on campus, so I can show
him easily.
Thanks!
