In response to those who have posted abandoned animals in need of a home
let me give you some options. Spring has sprung and more animals are being
abandoned at this time of year than at any other. I think it is wonderful
that so many of our UTC family have shown care and love to these little
guys. I have also rescued a kitten left on our campus last fall in the
cold and rain, her name is Baby and we love her a lot!

Here are a few places you can contact to try and place these guys in loving
homes:

www.bestfriends.com

www.petfinders.com

Critter Magazine - 265-6644, they will place an ad for you. Local and is
placed in businesses and pet stores around the Chattanooga. They will
showcase the animal with picture and description in their magazine free of
charge. They are not a shelter.

[log in to unmask] - she helps with rescued animals and finding
homes and is a local contact.

I would also think that maybe out very own radio station, 88.1, would be
interested in helping us help our four-legged friends by making a community
announcement asking our Chattanooga family to help us place them in loving
homes. What do you think?
